We Need More Humans Achievements
The 19 Steam badges, with honest notes where unlock text is not public.
We Need More Humans ships 19 Steam achievements. The store page highlights ten of them with icons; the rest sit behind the full achievements board. This page lists every name Steam has published and notes what the name is implying. We will not invent hidden percentages or fake “kill 10,000 cows” numbers. If you want the play path that unlocks most of them naturally, follow getting started then how to complete.
One launch review said a Normal run left all but three achievements done in about two hours. Treat 100% as a light extra, not a raid tier.
Highlighted names (Steam store)
These ten are the ones the API returns as highlighted:
- Is That a UFO?! — almost certainly your first abduction or first round. If it does not pop on the desert map, you have a Steam overlay issue, not a skill issue.
- That’s NOT a Weather Balloon — a step up in abduction count or visibility. Keep sweeping.
- It’s Time to Panic — crowd density or a specific Evolution beat. Packed suburb energy. Locations.
- There’s Still Room in that Thing? — the name is Beam Capacity in joke form. Buy the node on the upgrade checklist.
- All You Can Abduct Buffet — mass lift. Instant Abduction and radius help. Late game build.
- Where Did Everyone Go? — location clear / population sign at zero.
- It’s Just My Side Hustle — money milestone. Value + Evolution.
- It’s Just a Mindset — unspecified; likely a mid-tree or mode gag. Play Normal honestly before hunting it.
- You Should Join My Online Course — unspecified; the store also uses this art as a thumbnail. Probably a cash or tree joke, not a real course.
- I Like the Stock — economy joke. Keep buying value.
Steam’s store thumbnails also show They’re All Gone, Boss! as a named icon — that is the “you emptied the planet / finished the map” energy, and it may sit in the remaining nine.
The rest of the 19
Steam lists a total of 19 but does not print every description on the storefront without owning the game. The leftover names follow the same comedy tone (abduction, money, panic, room in the ship). Practical 100% route:
- Finish Normal. That should slam the UFO / weather balloon / clear-the-map family.
- Buy through the skill tree instead of quitting at the first suburb.
- Trigger Evolutions so body-gag badges can fire. Evolution tier list.
- Touch extra modes and Endless after Game Complete for the ones that refuse to pop on Normal. How to complete.
- Equip a cosmetic saucer if a customisation badge exists — vanity, but cheap.
If three leftovers remain, they are probably mode-specific or “do a silly thing the tooltip never mentioned” (fly into every gizmo type, stack Round Time, etc.). Experiment; do not wait for a datamine this wiki will not pretend to have.
Missable?
Nothing looks missable in the roguelike sense. There is no branching campaign to lock you out of a badge. The tree is linear. Maps are linear. Replay extra modes if a name still sits locked. Steam Cloud keeps the profile.
Cheating
This is a single-player Steam game. We are not hosting scripts. Play the saucer.
When Seafront adds achievements in a patch, the count on this page will move with release notes. Until then, 19 is the number on the store.
A practical hunting order if you are missing several at Game Complete: clear one more location for the “everyone is gone” family, buy one more Beam Capacity for the “room in that thing” joke, trigger one Evolution for the panic/crowd family, then boot an extra mode. That sequence maps onto the walkthrough without a separate achievement route. Do not idle in the desert hoping Is That a UFO?! is secretly a 10,000-abduct grind — the name is a first-hour gag, not a raid.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
How many achievements are there?
19 on Steam at launch.
Can I 100% in one Normal run?
One review was three short after Normal. Finish extras if needed. See how to complete.
Are any achievements hidden?
Steam marks some as not hidden in the highlighted set. Full hidden flags need the in-game overlay. We do not invent them.
Does Beam Capacity have an achievement?
There's Still Room in that Thing? is the obvious joke. Buy Capacity on the upgrade checklist.
Will you list exact unlock numbers later?
Only if they become public. We will not guess “abduct 10,000” and call it a guide.
